Gentleman’s impulse aka Lucy is an outstanding 7 year old registered paint mare. Lucy is a true unicorn, in all our years of involvement in the horse industry we have not quite had one like her. Lucy comes from well a well known trainer and very close friend of mine who had her the past 6 years. Lucy has more than a bag of tricks in her resume, this is a horse the whole family can enjoy with confidence, my wife has trail rode her, my daughters (7&5) ride her both alone and double and I have trusted Lucy to keep them safe, I’ve heard horses referred to as babysitters and the certainly describes Lucy. But she’s also got some fancy buttons on her ad well, Lucy with neck rein, ride bridleless, spin both directions, sliding stop, side pass and back up with ease, you can gather, work and rope cattle off her as she has done many times on the ranch. Lucy also knows the barrel pattern and would be great to teach a beginner the ropes of doing so but even if you’re not into any of these things Lucy has learned to do she is a stellar trail mount, super safe, super trust worthy and extremely uncomplicated. I hope her video shows just has awesome she is but she is truly a horse you have to see to appreciate how kind she is.
