Arnold wurde auf einem Feedlot eingesetzt und wurde an Seil und Arzt Kranken verwendet. Er kennt sich auf der Ranch gut aus und hat ein gutes Gespür für Kühe. Er hat auch schon Rinder auf dem Viehhof eingepfercht und Lastwagen beladen. Arnold ist ein exzellentes Arbeitspferd, aber er freut sich auch über einen entspannenden Ausritt, denn er ist ein großartiger Wanderreiter, der Bäche, Gräben und Baumstämme überquert und sich in unwegsamem, felsigem Gelände zurechtfindet. Er hat einen geschmeidigen Jog, einen SEHR, SEHR schönen, leicht zu setzenden Lope, einen guten Stop, dreht einen Kreis in beide Richtungen und kehrt mit Leichtigkeit um! Er ist mit allen Arten von Wildtieren wie Rehen, Truthähnen oder anderen Tieren wie Kühen oder Hunden in Berührung gekommen und geht überall hin, wo man ihn hinschickt. Er ist viele Meilen in den Bergen von Ost-Kentucky geritten und hat jedes mögliche Hindernis auf dem Weg überwunden. Er geht selbst die steilsten Hänge hinauf oder hinunter, durchquert tiefe Bäche, überquert umgestürzte Bäume und überwindet alle Arten von unwegsamem Gelände und ist dabei immer noch trittsicher. Arnold is a stout built Bay gelding standing around 15.1hh and he is 9 years old. Arnold has been used on a feedlot and has been used to roped and doctor sick ones. He knows his way around the ranch and has plenty of cow sense. He has also penned cattle in the stockyards and loaded trucks. Arnold is an excellent working horse but is just as happy to go out and have a relaxing trail ride as he is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a VERY VERY nice easy to set lope, a good stop, turns a circle both ways and backs with ease! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
