Talk about total package right here! I think just about everyone grows up dreaming of a blue roan like Rio. He has quite the resume and is ready to be your next life partner. Rio carries himself with confidence and is an elegant mover. He has been ridden by experienced youth riders and is very patient with anyone on his back.
Rio is no stranger to hard work and has been used around cattle, started roping the sled and slow steers. He tracks and pulls to the horn good. Would make a phenomenal rope horse when finished out and could look great doing it!
He is confident and surefooted out on the trails, crossing anything you ask him to. He goes over logs, through water, across obstacles, and traffic safe to ride down the roads. Been ridden through the woods and is careful when going across rocky terrain. He stands tied to be bathed, saddled, and bridled.
Rio has a great handle and is fun to ride! He trots and lopes around like a dream with a draped rein and low headset. He naturally wants to stop big and does a correct turnaround. He passed a pre-purchase exam on 3-10-2025.
