Super Sonic is a beautiful 12 yr old grulla gelding that’s 14.2 hands tall. We have owned him for over a year now and he has been our #1 go to for us and our kids. We have hauled him with us everywhere we have went and won over $100k, buckles, and prizes on him in team roping and goat tying! This gelding is what dreams are made of with a reining handle and lots of feel he is so fun to ride! He collects up in the bridle, lopes easy slow circles, turns around correct, side passes, sliding stop, opens and closes gates, and picks up correct leads. He is a finished heel, trail, goat tying horse that you can also take to the ranch riding classes, head on him, and my kids have been playing around trick riding on him as well! On the heel side he is good for the number 12 down, you drop your hand coming out of the box and he is as automatic as they come with a huge sliding stop when you throw your rope, no tuning has to be done! He’s good in the box, doesn’t ever give you any trouble, no moving around and stands like a statue, no scoring has to be done, you can run 30 head and he’s great! If you do score, he scores great also! My 10 yr old daughter heels and calf ropes on him also. You can rope on him with or without a tie down, he doesn’t require one at all. If classy, personable, or dependable are at the top of your requirement list, you HAVE to check this gelding out! Sonic is such a sweet gelding that will greet you at the gate! He is has seen more country than most people! From the bright lights of the Patriot in Ft Worth, to the hardest days of ranch work, to the boggiest and thickest briar trails in East Texas he has seen and done it all. He is sure footed, and dependable out on the trails, he will go absolutely anywhere you point your reins! Sonic is the kind you don’t have to worry about, he will take care of you inside and out of the arena! He loves water, crosses all type of obstacles and terrain, and has been exposed to all types of wild life, dogs, cats, chickens, livestock, kids, and every machinery you can think of! We have carried the American flag on him as well as sponsor flags in rodeos! On the trail he will lead or follow at any pace! Sonic will stay in hot wire that isn’t even hot or stand tied at the trailer all night. He has been hauled so much he will stay anywhere! In the arena he is all business and will give you 110% everytime! Out on the trail I can’t say enough good about him and how easy going he is! Sonic has the smoothest gaits you’ve ever felt, like floating on clouds! I’m not exaggerating when I tell you has done everything, my kids have been trick riding on him the last 6 months and he doesn’t mind doing anything they ask, they have taken him to rodeos and did a little specialty act on him and he is great! Sonic will also extend his trot out under English tack and he will go over cross rails, he would enjoy packing around a little kid in the short stirrup classes! This horse is so versatile and would be great for literally ANYONE! He leads, loads, bathes, stands tied quietly, LOVES to be body clipped, tacks up great, and stands great for the farrier! Sonic is handled by little kids from 5 yrs old and up everyday! They load him in the trailer on their own and back him off on their own. He is EASY EASY EASY to get along with and doesn’t require anything special! Sonic will stay stalled or turned out with other geldings and mares he is in the middle of the pecking order. He is always the first to meet you at the gate.
